The most charming Rhodes ever

We send a Rhodes through tape hardware to create a warm and fluttering tape sound. In order to enrich the sound we layered a grainy processed vibraphone sound. Got it - some warm taped metal!

Warm Noise und Sine Wave

We combined a sine wave with its own noisy tape feedback. Thus, we tried to create this feel and sound of being lost in dry emptiness or the loneliness in all kinds of spaces.

Infinite vibes and bells

We put a symphonic vibraphone through analog tape machines and added its reverse variant with heavily saturated feedback, which ended up in a blooming delay. This creates a very special blend of vibraphone vibes.

Warm close and intimate Piano

In the living room of an old friend there was a beautiful, charming but slightly out of tune Bluethner piano. We quickly recorded it and completed it with some living room dust (noise) and a reversed vibraphone. The charm is back.

Charming Kalimba on Tape

We noticed that this old cassette radio laying around in the corner has a recording function. No time to waste we fed it with a kalimba and a xylophone to offer a mix between wood and metal.

Swirling Air

We elicit this nice sound from an old tube tape delay. We turned the feedback knob to insane and let the machine sing in the self oscillation. You can now hear the old tubes distortion.

Lost World

Sonic Wasteland was created in the feeling of a lonely late night studio session, when we sent tapped guitar notes through an old tape machine and adding a vintage Glockenspiel and a resonance-pad.
